The Conero Golf club is at Coppo di Sirolo, just 2km from Taunus Village. It is inside the Conero park. There are two courses, an 18 hole championship course and a 9 hole executive course. The championship course, 18 hole, par 71, is considered a difficult test for every level of golfer. The ground rolls gently creating a variety of situations and of scenery. The first nine holes are characterised by the lake, whereas through the remaining nine holes the course slowly transforms and becomes more colourful. On reaching the hills the rare beauty of the surrounding landscape accompanies the golfer to the 18th.
The executive course is at the centre of the complex. There are 5 holes at a par of 17 that are ideal for beginners or golfers who are following lessons with trainers. This short course is often used for youth tournaments, golf clinics and by golfers who like a quick game. Visitors, golf lovers and non, will be able to enjoy the practice course, putting green, Club house with bar, very good restaurant, pro-shop, card room, large swimming-pool and the 2 synthetic tennis courts that are part of this recently built complex. The Conero Golf Academy has a team of professional golf instructors that make learning the sport easy. The facility has covered play points and is equipped with support equipment to allow video analysis of swing.
It is open all year round and closes only from 15/01 to 15/02. Closed on Tuesdays
